Got two RE MX15's....need amp advice..

I couldnt help it, picked up some like new MX15D1's for a good price. Ive read they can take 2000w+, but I dont need that much. Im looking for about 2000-3000rms for both. Ive read about some of the 3000w amps. I already have a 1000/1v2 and I really like the bass eq, so Im thinking of getting another, or Ive also considered a T20001BD. I would like an amp with a bass eq and or bass knob (not a remote gain). I like to be able to boost around 35hz sometimes for the low songs.

Oh and they're going in sealed box 2.3 net per chamber.

Allright, Ive been reading a lot more in detail about these MX's lately. Now the question is:

Am I really gonna need 4kw+ to get good output? I was planning on just 2kw at most!

look for clarion dpx amps.

they have adjustable bass eq frequencies, do over 1500 a piece, and are pretty efficient. There designed after the jl amps..

Wow, nice find! I looked at the DPX11551 and it looks like a good match. 1 per sub @ 2ohms seems perfect. I just wonder how their bass remote works, I hope it only controls the boost and not the gain. I guess Ill send an e-mail.

One amp I looked at was the MTX Elite series, but the bass knob controls the gain not the boost level, which sucks IMO.

Im hesitant on the T20001BD because of my past experience with running amps @ 1 ohm. Heres why, I had a RF Power 1000 that had 931W @ 1 ohm and also a Memphis Belle that put out 1100w @ 1 ohm. Both amps powered a set of JL 12w6v2's. After switching to a JL 1000/1, the bass was equally as loud, but sounded more detailed, precise, and overall nicer sound. What do you think?
