Well, I had sold my Boss "4k" to a friend of mine local for $100 because he got some 15" Rockford P3's that the previous owner left in the Mustang he traded his Jeep for. He thought the subs still worked, but we went to hook them up today and the coils on both subs were slinkied //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

We cut the softies out and removed some screws holding the baskets on the motors, then had to drill out some rivets or whatever they were before we could get the baskets off.
He had no use for the motors, so I traded him my 10" Kicker L7 that works for both P3 motors and the Boss "4k" back.
I basically got $100 and the P3 motors for my L7 10".
Thinking about making some cheap little 8's out of these just for fun and practice. Going to start picking out parts
Here are some pics of the P3 motors. The boot makes them look a lot bigger than they are, lol. Still, they're pretty heavy for their size, surprisingly!
