RE shoulda made their subs with push terminals and woven in tinsel leads

I would be bummed if my xxx's had come with push terminals, rather than the set-screw type they actually have. And, woven tinsel leads are not the end-all fix some people make them out to be. I prefer subs that don't use them personally, as there are better ways of fixing 'lead slap' than weaving a heavy, non-fexible wire into your moving suspension parts. *shrug*

If not, what's your point? Looks alone?
I haven't been around much lately, but I see you are still at the same game of bashing RE every chance you get, even when you make zero sense doing it.

Is it a perfect fix? Nope. Its still a better fix than woven imo, for the reasons Ive stated before (in this thread or the other one).

I believe you mentioned broken tinsel leads in the other thread also, this comes from over excursion usually, not from 'slap'. A woven lead suffers from this same possible problem. *shrug*

Either way, its two different schools of thought. You suggested not weaving the tinsel leads is an obvious sign of less performance and/or build quality, this is simply not the case. Woven has its advantages, I don't think anyone is arguing that, but its certainly not the only 'right' way to do it.
