I have it at about 500-600 rms. Some reason I believe it's more. I don't turn it up over 20 on my kenwood head unit .. 20/30

some songs not over 18.

I hear it clap when I turn it to loud, so I don't do that and i turned it down

it is to big. its for the 13 w7. the 13w7 is getting sent to JL for recone. I have the 10 in there for temporary.

clapping = sub making noise that is not suppose to. sounds like clapping. Thats what the installer called it too.

If it's making distortion, the sound your probably hearing is clipping. Do you have any bass boost turned on? I don't feel like loading the video back up. Is your box ported? If so, do you have your ss filter on? It could be bottoming out a bit.

The rms on the 10w7 and the 13w7 should be the same, just the soft parts and basket should vary (basically). All that means is same motor, more cone space.
