My Q15's get loud. I actually took home 3rd place in a local SPL comp on Sunday. I hit 145.8 db's @ the dash Legal, and that is with a sealed box and seats that don't fold down, lol. They sounded clean and tight while doing it, too. Some of the guys where a little upset that they got beat with SQ subs, lol. It's not 150db loud, but hey, I got a trophy FTW!!

hey ghost what size box poly or no poly. And its wired t0 1 ohm. And dont get me wrong it gets loud it just sounds really sloppy and sorta bottomss out. My bro and i are gunna try and get those screws out

ok no video for now my comp sucks to much mabe 2marrow. And the cone got very warm for only like 600 watts. Then i turned up the gain a little and it gets almost hot

I'm feeding mine somewhere in the neighborhood of 1250 watts each... they'll get warm, but they've never been what I'd call hot. IDK what you're doing.

ive been listening to you the whole time. I took out the polyfil and it sounds worlds better not. But i do have a leak around the edge of the sub which i need to fix and i need to properly set the gains. Thanks everyone. When i get everything worked out ill give my opinion again. Any suggestions on how to fix the leak

Yeah, Punky is right, you can't really compare the 18" to a pair of 15's. I was just stating that the Q's are great subs, so I would lean towards it being and install or wiring prob. But for the record, the box is 4.4ft^3 after displacement sealed, and yes it is wired to 1ohm.
