Got my Q 18 today- semi review

it arrive today the packaging was weak but it wasnt broken in transit. So i put it in and it rattles my car like mad for some reason. So bad it sounds like ***. I had no internal rattling with my cvr which sounds louder than this. Im gunna stuff everything tight with insulation and see if it helps. Also it sounds kinda muddy and not that great. It sounds different from my cvr but not that much better. It might just be b/c theres so much rattling. It moves though and causes some mad flexing. Its in 6 cubes sealed w/ 5 lbs of polyfill, i expected it to sound alot better. It hits the lows nice and loud though.

My opinion my just be be b/c it is very stiff right now and the rattles sound like ***. Please elaborate. Pics in a few

Let it loosen up alot... and take out the polyfill. My pair in 8 cubes are nice and tight, not what I'd call muddy at all. They hit the lows good as well as the highs.

also sounds very boomy and at the begining of notes it sounds sorta mechanical but not bassy. Sorta like its bottoming out but its not

thats quite a huge box with that polyfill in there.

I'm curious as to how this plays out as well. i to am thinking about purchasing a Q for its quality 12 inch though. keep us posted.
