Thin Weather stripping maybe...

The crazy hippie colors almost make me think that you are using plywood...It is MDF, right? 3/4" What are the diminsions of the box? It looks kinda shallow to be 6cubes.

50x20x15 doubble baffle front and 4 dowel braces and yes its 3/4 mdf

CJL- no more bottoming out but there is the badly audible air leak that i mentioned but it still sounds good

Yeah, the leak is prob the main issue. Is it due to the hole being too large? I've done that before. You can probably add an additional baffle with the right size cutout...

the cutout isnt really to big cause it cant move around at all when its unscrewed. I think it my be b/c the there is about 1/4 inch of fabric under the edge of the sub

Even with the fabric there with it properly screwed in it shouldn't leak... That gasket should mash that fabric down completely.

**** it, cut the fabric off. lol That's easy for me to say, my box is in my trunk, I don't have to look at it.

also its not just fabric it has felt underneath it so mabe if i cut the felt away and leave the thin fabric itll do the trick

That may help. Just trust me, if that thing sounds bad, somethings wrong, because these two I have sound pretty **** good.

it sounds good just has the hissing sound coming from around the sub. Ill work on it and well see how i do

I'd do 4cubes with 2-3lbs. of polyfill sealed.

you've nearly quadrupled displacement, and it's in the same acoustical environment of a beer can with no deadening
of course it's going to rattle reallly bad

shoot jimbo has rattles and he's only using a single 12 with like 90 watts after the 30ohm impedence rise....
