Got my Eclipse iPod adapter working with my CD8455...

...but when I plug it in, the source just switches to Line (not the same as Analog In), and I have no control over the iPod, either from the head unit or the iPod itself, it just plays and continues to play until I either change sources or unplug it. If I do change sources, I can't get back to the Line source at all unless I unplug the iPod and plug it back in.

Any suggestions?

I did the firmware update for the 8445. It's mostly for the area shot I believe but it couldn't hurt to do it- if you go under the area shot menu you'll see at the bottom of the page an instruction link and update file link. THat should give you all the info you need
