Got an alpine cda-9835 here and was wondering what harnass i need to enable the steering wheel controls through an aftermarket headunit?

Is this the one?

can't order from em online can u? i saw they make an ipod connector AND a aux in one for alpines but i think it said to look for it in a retailer like frys or something

the peswialp works for alpine, what you have..

the peswix works for every radio iirc. but it has a ir you will have to install some where you have to poin to the radio..

we tend to use PAC alot where i work and the steering wheel controls work really well, if i remember right, the PAC actually acts as a remote, like you hook it up to ur steering wheel controls, then it comes with a remote eye which you aim at the head unit, then using the remote that came with the head unit you program the PAC piece, pretty cool because you can decide which buttons you want to control which feature

the only thing the blows is the delays you experience. I heard some are better than others but i had a pac-ecl before i directly wired the HU into my steering wheel controls (gotta love eclipse) the delay was pretty awful and i found myself not using it.
