I love my Eclipse 8053, you have just regular mode or if you want to really tweak your setup just go to pro mode. But atleast you have the head room for pro mode if you ever want to use it.

i i would suggest an eclipse hu. i love mine. i have had the 3434 and now i have the 8443. and man with the 8v preouts it will make any system hit nice and clean.

but i also like the alpine hu i did have the cda-9827 for a while and i loved it, but i would suggest eclipse then alpine are my top 2

Eventhough I love my alpine, I would probably recommend a higher end pioneer.... IMO, I think that the pioneers are more user friendly... They seem less complicated to shift through and tune...

That is your opinion. I find Alpine to be alot easier to navigate. There isn't much easier out there than my 8053 either.

Regardless. If I was in the market for a new headunit, I would consider:

Pioneer 860mp

Alpine 9835

Alpine 9855

Eclipse 8454
