got metered

ok i got metered yesterday on a termlab. the best it hit was 141.6 sealed up. the car is a 98 blazer 4 door and equipment is in the sig. i was expecting louder but i guess not. is that normal? the box is 3.5cu tuned to 34hz.

Def. a respectable score. Especially in a daily driver. Although SSi's have never really impressed me with their ability to get loud.

My first time on the meter was the same way lol. Try not to get hooked because it gets expensive

Makes you respect the 150s, huh. Getting loud isn't as easy as everyone thinks, and usually people aren't as loud as they think they are. That's nice equipment though, hopefully you don't get new stuff just to get louder now that it's not as loud as you thought. Just remember that it was loud enough for you before you metered.

But I won't fault you if you change it up for that very reason, I've done the same thing.

Sigs turned off, so I have no clue what you have, but I did a 138.1 on my Fi Q I had on about 900rms. I wonder what I am doing as my CVX is louder to the ear on less watts, 750rms. I would like 140 out of 1 12, but I doubt it.

im doing 140.5 @ 37hz sealed at the glass is that loud matrxxdude..

but at the same time i have 1 sundown sae 1kd on 2 custom tc sounds 3hp 12's..they need 2k per suband im only feedin them 500 per sub

i had a 1 18" audiobahn ultra excursion with a kx1200.1 hit only 142.x wasnt happy either that was in my jimmy. looks bout right for scores anyways. nice score btw.
