Got me some coilover sleeves for mah civic, droppin this ricer woohooo!

Looks good. Are those 17's or 18's?
x2 on the tokico's, a lot of people say they're trash. I'll be getting Koni Yellows, every one on the Civic forums swear by them.

You could of also went with some lowering springs, too. Are those Skunk2's adjustable?
they are adjustable coilovers for height yes.

my rims are 18's.

on a side i note i may already change the sleeves out. they are good and all from what i've noticed in the 3 days they have been put in but after i thought about it i now kind of want to get a full coilover system.

i'm considering some D2 racing RS coilovers with dampening adjustment. i should of just went with them in the first place.

wanna buy them? i'll sell the kit for 200shipped..

they are practically new lol.

I think they'd fit, but I already have a set of 2.5" drop springs, and it's still not low enough.

I'm going to save up some money and buy a set of Apexi N-1 coil overs. They have like 30 adjustable settings, and can go low as 3.3", just gotta get that $900 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

these drop down to 3" which is more then i really need.

i gotta find out how much the D@'s will drop. the dampening adjuster and the looks of the set is catching my eye at the moment. they price at around 900 as well. i should sell some of the shit i have laying around the house to help make money for them. i'd like to order them now actually so that i can hold off on getting the alignment for the car.. decisions decisions...

get coiliovers..that's what i have on my civic..ride is pretty good..

got the rears dine this saturday. took a little less time than doing the front but went a lot smoother. i had the ride height adjusted equal to the front and whell when i got home the rear sagged and is now tucked. lol

i'm still debating on rasing it back up to par with the front or leaving it tucked like that. my rear camber is pretty **** negative at the moment but i'll start adjusting it soon. if i adjust the camber then i will deffinately have to raise it a bit to reduce the rist of rubbing. at the moment with all the camer set there is no rubbing of the tire to the rear fender.

here are some pics.

i'll get more pictures later.

so should i leave it as is? or go a little higher?

****, extreme camber. Watch your tires.

You could also do the "washer trick" so you wont have to buy a camber kit. Add one washer (not sure on the size, but it's like 1/16" thick) for every degree of camber.

Do that, and go loooooower. Looks pretty good.

yeah there is a lot of negative camber, though i already have and mounted the camber kit for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i adjusted it just yesterday and reduced some of the camber which it is sitting at a pretty nice level right now. i can't tell you what degree it is at or anything but i reduced some of it's negativity and they look kind of balanced with the front.

though the good thing about my tires, Nitto NeoGens is they work fine with negative camber. so i'm not toooo worried. i'm more worried about toe :/

Skunk2, fuck you!

update!

them coilover sleeves are a major PIECE OF SHIT. they were ok at first but overall i hate them ride is bouncey as ****. allows the car to bottom out easily. my shocks are still in decent condition but the are deff not blown.

i really wasted my money on that shit. total loss.

last week i purchased my new set of Full coilovers by D2 racing. sexy lil things.

they arrived today woohoo!!

i believe to start the work on sunday. i know i won't get done so the car will sit around for a few days untill i get them all installed. then the alignment. i also need to overlook my alts position. i think somethings not on right as my belts squeek here and there and they never really did that till after the alt was installed. even as the belts were replaced. anyways, here what the D2's look like.

i'm excited!
