Well I guess some Ahole wanted my equipment more than I did. Got in my car this morning and went to crank up some noise and WTF nothing. So thinking an RCA came unplugged I opened the back door to my SUV and Bamm no amps, processor, 2 of my 3 yellow tops.

What they got:

2 elemental designs Nin.1's

PPI 900.4

JBL Processor (aholes prolly thought it was an amp)

2 Yellow tops

After a few choice words I have to look at this as a chance to upgrade. Also at least the left my deck and my 2 type X's.

So I am looking for new amps I have 2 alpine 12" type x's and I want to put 1200 rms to each. I was thinking of going with a single amp this time somthing like an american bass vfl 120.1 or 150.1 but I am open to suggestions. What you guys think ??

Also I am going to venture into the realm of active mid/high what amps/components/crossovers are hot right now.

Yes yes alarm is in the works.... Sad thing is i knew better I guess I was operating under the false pretense that the car was always parked in a safe location in a good neighborhood yadda yadda yadda. lesson learned....the hard way.

AB 150.1 is the sub amp I am going with unless there is something out there in the 500-600$ range I dont know about. That reminds me whats up with the Ab "hybrid" amps like the vfl 4480 (I think?) Are these on par with the 120.1's and 150.1'??

As far as the active setup I dunno I am pretty open on budget I am just wondering If it is better to run 2 small 2ch or one big 4 channel. I am really leaning more towards sq for this setup. So I guess if you had a grand to spend on an active setup what should I be looking at. I am just not sure I really have the time or desire to jack with an active setup, although.......
