finally got a dmm and set my gains right.
the assassin 8 in a sealed box did great. very impressive. ***** has crazy excursion and makes alot of noise for being its size.
well the ported box i made was my second box , maybe 5th time using circular / jigsaws. so it was ugly as shit lol, glue running down the sides ,but its seams are airtight (caulk ftw). output is ****ing crazy for being an 8. wow. i have it bridged on a 2-ch with no ssf so the low-lows = //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
didnt round off port edges (no router..yet) so noise is apparent on lower notes. the issue i was having with the sub not having as much output on higher freqs is still there but not as obvious. im probably going to order another within its warranty period (3 years) and if anything ill contact them again and exchange.
over all im very pleased.
