just looking for input on basic design.

specs are dead on for drivers and cross over is being professionally designed.

a ring radiator and 4 6.5's. I don't like giving brand names because then it becomes more about the equipment then the actual design.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you it's good stuff. Comes out to a little under $2000 each tower. enclosure is 1'' thick and planing to use bamboo plywood. I may run bracing in it as well.

If I was to use any exotic wood it would still be made out of bamboo just use exotic veneer. I have a hook up on bamboo and want to try it out for a car build.

That's what I was thinking it's amazing what you can cover in laminate/veneer!

I'll have to see how the xover comes out. I'm horrible at x over design, especially at attenuating a tweeter while leaving it loud enough to blend with 4 6.5's

I had some sick jbl's back in the day the where dual 6.5"s with a bi-radial silk dome tweeter mounted in a horn, the nice part was they where bi-amp capable so running the horns on separate channels so I could bring them up/down as needed, but they where almost exactly like your design minus 2 6.5"s but ported the same way back when a flared port was a "new" idea!

I left .5" after the round over to help it be more stable. They won't be 45° they will be a 1.5'' round over I was just to lazy to do round overs in sketch up it's a pain in the ***.

this is how the bracing will be, I need to point out no bracing is directly in the center of any plane, and none interferes with the 1/4 wave function in the enclosure. The random size and location of the round holes in the bracing breaks up standing waves as well.
