No need to get a lawyer involved over a simple ticket man. It's just not worth all this. Profiling happens all the time and you're not the first or last person to ever be a victim of it. It's not worth paying court costs and wasting your time at court. Just pay the ticket and move on with your life. Don't dwell on petty stuff like this.

plead not guilty....then the judge will just give you a later court date like 6 months from now and worry about it then and it will possibly be reduced. or you can find out who the prosecutor is and talk to him about what your options are and he can get your sentence lessened....or just wait till your court date to talk to the prosecutor there at the court house....a friend of mine got out of a big speeding ticket by talking to a prosecutor and he had it dropped to a seat belt ticket.....

also the prosecutor might even tell you to plead guilty and depending on the judge it might be only a $50 ticket....no need in trying to fight a small ticket...the judge isn't going to care if you were barely playing it or not....

I already have a lawyer so it wouldnt cost me anything to ask him to look into it..

IDK I guess I just have to much pride, its not the 250-500 ticket that I care about.. Big deal, I wont go out one weekend..

Its the simple fact that I was blatantly profiled..

The guy at the audio shop told me every sense we went to war the city has been broke and they just write these stupid tickets and the reason they keep on is because its to easy for the soldiers to just pay it than worry about it..

I got my first one sitting at a local hangout a undercover walked up to my hood seen me do it then called in the reinforcments.I got a $150 fine then after that it would go up.

lets see pay the $150 or pay a lawyer huummm not worth it

I got a lawyer for my DUI I got the same sentence as every other guy in my shoes that day in court "no joke" with or without a lawyer same sentence.$3000 for the lawyer to stand there and shake my hand after.

Lose the vehicle or get rid of your bling (LOL, I said it)...You're gonna get profiled. Your lawyer is going to tell you to pay it (assuming you're using base legal, LOL)

The ONLY way you're gonna win is saying your system was non-op. Or that you don't have a system, haha.

But it's not going to make a difference as far as making local politicians and police stop ticketing people for no reason. If you end up fighting the ticket and winning they'll get the money from someone else and probably end up getting you again later. Just my opinion. I personally hate dealing with our justice system because I find it to be a waste of time.

Were your windows up or down? Im assuming down? Either way bro I would turn that down. Dont pay anything. If you know you didnt have your music up that high then I wouldnt pay a dime for something I didnt do.

16 On an alpine is a little less than half way up so i dont know if you mentioned what deck you have either, 16 on a pioneer would be nothing.

OP Every state has different laws pertaining to Sound Violations I know where I live that it is within 50 ft they can ticket you. Shit happens, but in the long run you will probably benefit more from paying it versus fighting it.

I was listening to rap but what does it matter when you CAN NOT HEAR IT OUTSIDE. I am not saying barely up as in you can barely hear it outside, I am not saying barely up as in, barely shaking someones car.

Barely up as in, I HAD A PHONE CONVERSATION WITH IT WHERE IT WAS.

Driving down a busy *** road. I never saw the cop, I hear his sirens and looked back and he ws about a 1/4 mile back, it took him awhile to get to me. The 1st thing he said was "you never even saw me did you" well hell no I didnt b.c you were nowhere around..

Haha, call ur lawyer on a ticket that has no effect on anything.

What a ***, I'd pay the ticket Monday and be done with it.

Prolly 100 bucks and 5min out the day.

Also, this is why ill never have rims or anything flashy on my Explorer. Unwanted attention from cops or thieves.
