Got a sweet on a plasma deal this weekend!!!

There certainly will be good deals, but you might get trampled to death trying to get them!
I don't mind that! I go out every black friday...i love it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Besides, the more expensive items are easier to get. It's the cheap 20$ things that sell out in minutes...

****...now I don't know what to do,
http://www.walmart.com/Vizio-42-Class-Eco-1080p/ip/10993796

That's the Vizio I have, it's decent. The picture could be a little better, it looks kinda grainy up close and like I said, with dark scenes it doesn't look very good. I can still take it back for a full refund. But then I wouldn't have a tv in the living room for about a month, lol.
Return it - buy another one, that'll last you till black friday and return that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

haha, not a bad idea.

Sears' black friday ad is leaked already...they have a few good deals for ~600 bucks (my price area)

Panasonic 42 in. 1080p 600 Hz Plasma for $650 LINK

or

Samsung 42" Class 720p Plasma for $550 (No link but Model is PN42B400)

Everywhere I read, everyone says Samsung is the best for HDTV's so I like that one, but it is a step back because it's only 720p //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Both are rated at 600hz though, am I going to get that annoying motion blur shit that my dad's LED LCD has?

fawk, it's been more than 90 days....

EDIT: Well if they don't count the day I bought it as one of the days, then today is the 90th day...But I'm thinking they probably will. I'm going to take it up there and see if they'll cut me a break :p Especially since I had to do the "site-to-store" bullshit and didn't actually get the tv for another 2 weeks...

sooo...your going to take your tv out of your room

repackage it

load in in your truck/car

drag it into the store

wait in line for the returns

then

search all over the web for black Friday deals

wake up at 3 am or wait in line all night

try not to get run over at 5am

wait in another line

all to save $100???

I might not even save any money, but I would definitely be upgrading in quality...besides, I always go black friday shopping so those last 4 things I was doing anyway.

And there is no searching the web man, all the ads get posted on http://www.bfads.net

I have the 42" Samsung 720p plasma and its great... got it for $550 when Fred Meyer had a sale for college students.

I actually prefer plasmas for gaming because there is no motion blur... one of the things I hate about LCDs.

if you already have it paid off I would get my money back and buy a better and bigger tv

Well it took like over a ****ing hour but I returned it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Got a shitty little 23" tube tv sitting out here no. It has no coax input and the speakers don't work. Have my ps3 hooked up to it with my computer speakers for sound, lol. It's ghetto as hell but it'll work for now.

Oh man that's torture, the taliban has better in the caves of Afghanistan. I hear osama has a 37" plasma and xbox 360 running off 2 donkeys and a circle mill generator.

And yes I just invented the circle mill generator

I think I have the same one, it's either 42A400 or 42B400, can't remember. For the price, it's one hell of a TV. Don't sit too close however, there is a lot of noise when you're within about 2-3 ft.

haha, well wait till you hear how I hooked up the speakers. It's ghetto...The cable coming out of the PS3 is a regular male RCA jack, so I had to use a female to female rca connector, then a male rca to male 3.5mm (headphone jack) connector, then a female 3.5mm to female 3.5mm, then connect the speaker's male 3.5mm into that...lol I already had the rca connectors but had to buy the other two, cost me less than 10 bucks and it works!

Yeah, I think 1080p is a must for me...
