Got a question

I think of SQL when I think of Alpine. Especially after I found out about the $40,000 Alpine upgrade you could get in Lamborghini Diablo's a few years back, lol.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif And if I saw an all Alpine car, I would expect great imaging. Don't ask me why, just what comes to mind.

Well, with everyone's help I finally pounded it into his head //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif We have started choosing components for the system.

Subs - Four Type R dual 4ohm 15's

Amplifiers for subs - Four MRD M500 Class D 500w x 1 at 2ohm

Front Stage - Spx - F17T Type X three way component set

Front stage amplifier - MRV - F540 Bridged 140w x 2 at 4ohm

Still trying to decide on rear fill speakers, head unit, and any processors. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i have a freind that runs a car shop in Ocala FL (Vern Head). When he built his demo truck he had the same delima. The Solution? 16 12's in the bed of the a 95 S-10, and 2 10's in the cab extension....

The 12's had a cut off switch and when he ran SQ he just killed the monsters in the back... They were all fosgates and that truck would bottom the roof of your mouth out:eek:

There are a couple of shops around here. One has a demo van with fosgate. One has a sport-trac with JL. And one other has a conglomeration of all the product lines they sell. Nobody has anything alpine. There is only one other dealer locally. And they just dabble in car audio. Their main stay is home audio. So we figured it would stand out more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I didn't think there was anything in Ocala besides horse farms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif J/K

Me either... i used to work lol i used to work for a cable contractor and they sent me out to Wild Wood as a project manager and i came across this guys shop. Hes like 67 years old and the biggest Bass -n- Fosgate fanatic i have ever met lol... his son Steve Head has a car featured in Auto Sound & Security. If im not mistaken it was a grand am with 2 12" Oz subs in them? but i dont quite remember... ill have to look through my mags again.

That demo truck he built is the first system i ever heard that hit over 142 DB... (Last competition he went to when i was there in 199 he hit 156.4 legal) And it hurt.... it hurt bad lol i remeber gagging cause as the low bass hit my breath was ****** out of my mouth lol... the design was a "W" shape box holding 4 in each chamber. He pushed all 16 of them off 4 Audio Art Amps. That was the only good thing about being in Ocala

What about the rich women //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
