Got a problem

So, I went to Big Ten to get some new tires put on and when I get my car back suddenly the front speakers don't work. Basically, when I turn the car on the green power light on my amp (JL 300/2) turns on...but just for about 3 seconds and then gradually fades off and no other lights come on. The front speakers don't play while the green light is on either..

The thing that gets me is that I have two amps hooked up to the same 12V power, ground, and remote...and the other amp works fine...the power comes on..stays on..everything..but the JL just comes on for a second and then cuts off..

Any ideas?

did you check anything? Such as wiring? The tires should be an unrelated issue

Yea, all the wiring checks out in my eyes atleast...especially since one amp works and the other doesn't and theyre both hooked up to the same connectioions..

and i know the tires shouldnt matter..it's just weird I got it back and now they don't work..

try the amp in a different car...

I would but I don't have a different car to try it in...

Could I try switching the wires between teh two amps?

I switched the power/ground wires between the two amps and it didn't change anything...the sub amp works fine but the JL amp still powers on then shuts off..

could it be going into some kind of protection mode? maybe a blown fuse? anything?
