I always thought it was a bit of a waste to make a birch box but then cover it up in carpet..nontheless looks good.

Actually I wanted it bare, but there was a mix up and one of the helpers at the shop carpeted the box. Not a big deal since I was most likely going to end up painting it with a textured paint and I still can with a little sanding. Birch is best stained, but I've had stained boxes and want to try something different. The weight reduction was the main reason for the birch in this scenario btw.

Yea, it was my fault on the carpet. I had it sitting by(not in) the area where enclosures sit while waiting to be carpeted, and while I was gone it was wrapped up.

Nice enclosure Morals. I bet that setup is pretty sick in that hatch! Hoping the skars live up to my expectations...
