Washed and clayed today then washed again.

Some of the pics I took before tire shine, the last couple they're shined up!

But the clay worked amazing, The paint feels sooo smoothe.

I am washing and then waxing and polishing next weekend; hoping to get out alot of the swirls and scratches.

I got meguire's gold class shampoo/conditioner for wash. And I clayed with Magic Clay Blue. First time the car had been clayed ever, I ended up using the entire bottle of lube and 3/4 of the claybar. It turned out great though, I cannot wait to polish her up!

Thanks for looking

Getting rid of swirls isn't easy without some decent equipment. What are you using to polish?

Also, next time you clay, just use soap and water. Cheaper that way. I'm not sure how you used 3/4 of a claybar on a single car, though! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Nice looking car, btw.

Yea im gunna get some good wax and polish.

Also it was only a 100 gram claybar. The kit is only 12 bucks @ autozone and its used by a ton of ppl.

I was more so referring to the buffer that you're going to use. Trying to remove scratches and swirls by hand or with a $30 Autozone buffer is a complete waste of time.

As for the polishes, I use Hi-Temp when working on paint restoration. For the price, I have yet to find anything better.

Yea I HAD to have the gen2... They're a ton better. Obviously it fixes alot of the gen1 problems, yet new ones arise as well, but I am comfortable to deal with those in the future myself if they come up. In the meantime I f0cking love this car!
