Got a new used car today (Lincoln LS)

they may go for more in other parts of the country....
Naw trust me dude. I have been looking @ these cars all over the U.S. an 04 Ultimate V8 won't be found for 5 Gs unless its wrecked, been wrecked, or has some major problems lol.

And I know the LS's V8 is weaksauce compared to other V8s out there (nearly all of them)

But the V6 model is full of alot more problems with this car. Drop on over to Lincoln vs Cadillac to see for yourself, search the v6s and v8s problems, there's debates all the time on this issue, and both have alot of common problems, but the V8 takes the cake for less.. lol!

you ought to super charge it...that would make a pretty sweet sleeper....

Yup, 3.9L is correct, the baby ford V8 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

And the car gets 19.8 MPG (as of now), and takes premium.

You gotta pay to play. But the gas mileage beats the hell out of my old car; in 88 I don't think anyone thought about saving fuel.

not too good for a car ...thats pretty much what I get in my FX4 4wd with the 5.4 engine....
Well 4.6l V8 with a 93 tune and I'm pretty sure the tuner was a douche cause it runs rich. I need to get a new tune just haven't had the $100 to do it.

and dont bs my dad has a 01 supercrew with the 5.4 and he gets like 17 tops

mine is an 05 so there were a few improvements since 01....plus mine has only 38000 miles....you said 17 tops...you also said 17.5 sometimes 20 mpg hwy...that is about what I get...mine is stock except for the Saleen exhaust....i only run the cheap gas in it also 87 octane....

those panels on those cars break all the time. don't try gluing them or replacing them too costly. find some screws that are like 2.5 to 3 inches long and screw them through the plastic cover to the flat metal support on the top of the seat. try to find srews with the smallest head possible so that they will blend right in and won't be too noticable, color the head with a black sharpie. oh might as well do the other side too while your at it
