K, so what would you guys think would be the best setup ( 1 12" sub, amp, sub box, amp/sub wiring, capacitor ( do i need one?)) I got a 2009 c300 benz with harmon kardon speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif. I want my budget to be $1000 or under including everything. I would like a mix of SQ and SPL. Space does not matter and i don't want it to rattle to much but want to turn heads. ( my knowledge for subs/amps is not that great so ya lol )

He can also get audison, hertz, dd, jl audio, diamond, zapco, image dynamics, and rockford fosgate not to mention a few others. I would also recommend the hertz mille ml 3000 as the ultimate sq woofer( I think it's $500 or $550). Pm me if ur interested and I'll refer you.

ya either way i think ud be happy. the Qs are supposed to get pretty loud while retainingSQ. atleast from what i have read on here. i have no experience with them.

a focal polyglass 13, on a power class ppi amp, was one of the nicest systems i've had. in terms of pure sq. wasn't the loudest by any stretch.

Anybody have good luck getting a luxury car loud? Mine sounds great inside, but the turning heads part ain't happening.

And you don't need a cap.
