Got a bad Alternator/Engine whine, could use some help.

Well, i had a TINY bit of whine with my my last ground, it was two different wires just screwed into the floor.

I cleaned up some wires today and redid my ground, I drilled through the floorboard, scraped all the paint off, and have one common ground for the two amps.

I secured a big *** bolt with two hex nuts, and thought it was a great ground.

Boy was I wrong, I now have some NASTY whine through my speakers.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? I thought by upgrading my ground, I'd lose the noise, but it got worse.

All three pairs of them? I've been installing this junk for like...5 years now, and have never experienced a whine like this.

ground the rcas if you have a pioneer headunit... mine was bad before i grounded it

bingo Pioneers are nortorious for inducing whine into your system

ground the RCA's to the headunit chassis

do a search you can find some pic's on how its done

I dont have a pioneer unit, I found my whine and fixed it. Thanks guys.
