Im running Two IDMAX's in a 1.5gross per sub sealed box...

do they get nice and low like they are known for? How much power are you running to them?

~2kw from an AX-2000, it has the ability to play lower than any (similar) ported setup Ive heard.

I dont have any problems feeling the

At $210 shipped vs ~$450 shipped I'd go with the Shiva, no question.

If it were a $40-$50 difference then there might be something worth debating, but if the ID actually IS a better sub (and I don't know that it is) it is DEFINITELY not 2x better.

How about some Diamond D6's. What power are you using? not sure you mentioned that part.

Or some D9's would work too. They get nasty as well.

the t/s numbers are pretty comparable across the board except the shiva needs less power and has more xmax. Looks like a winner on paper

Where in NC are you? I would love to hear those ShivaXs, and see how they compare to Brahmas. They look close, although it would appear they have better transients, due to the smaller Le, and they should get lower because their Fs is like 5 Hz lower then the Brahma.

Im in Winston-Salem. Will be getting them in the near future hopefully. Or Ill just buy them and sit on them until i figure out what kind of vehicle i want to buy. Or,I could put them in my Suburban and see how they sound and break em in. But...if anything happens sooner,il let you know.
