I'm NOT saying you'll easily do 150db off this one 15, but the potential is there and this is a great piece of equipment. I'm not even sure if the full carbon fiber cone setup is still around. The current website recones are newer/different and not CF looking. Clean power these will take 3kw all day, less than clean power I'd keep it a bit under that. Burps 5kw-6kw no problem, and easy wiring to .25ohm if that's your cup of tea.
I picked this up local to replace my trf/psi beast that's having foam surround issues....but now I'm torn between trying to fix the trf or using this. So up for sale this dmx goes, if it doesn't move I use it and then put the trf/psi up for grabs as is.
Item(s) Description/Condition:
This baby is in pretty **** good condition for being a few years old. In fact it's one of the better looking ones than others I've seen posted in the last few years. The only things wrong with it I could find are some very minor blemishes on the outer gasket/basket near one of the mounting holes (shown in pics).
Not a single scuff anywhere on surround, cone and dust cap are immaculate, rest of the body looks GREAT too. all coils read .9 perfectly. Suspension is still a bit stiff, no tears or blemishes on the spiders or coil lead wires. Even the butt of the magnet is shiny and clear. You can see the tv reflection in the pic.
