Good subs?

These are 12" Alpine Type E subs. Has anyone ever heard these. Would these be good for sq and some spl. I was thinking of getting 6 of them.

haven't heard much about the type E's but type R's are suppose to be decent. i think you are better off getting 2 good subs then multiple lower end subs. what do you have for power?

the type e's are alpine's entry sub. they are a good buy for the money, but if you are really looking for spl and want to stick with alpine, type r or x would suit you better. but if you dont have to have alpine there are tons of options. adire, re, jl, mtx, etc etc

type e is the most affordable sub in alpine's sub category i think...but some may choose Type S rather than E as an option for TypeR + X. guess it's more into sq than spl...but anyway type r is so powerful for spl + i love it when it blends with audiocontrol Xover...dunno why though...
