good subs and amp combination to buy?

With about a grand to spend on 2 subs and an amp to power them, which would be the best setup? I am going for a SQL sound.

what are you looking for?

I would go two Brahmas (12's or 15's) and maybe a big orion amp or something.

WOn't two brahma 12's only leave about $300 in change? Not enough to get a decent 2000w amp...

that is a bomb *** idea, which also includes components. I would nut if I had that setup.

Drop the Koda's and amp...he said just 2 subs and amp, so 2 Shivas and a 600.1 is about 450. You can also do 2 RE SE's and a 1200.1 Thats still leaves ya with a few hundred.
