I've been trying to find a good system lately, and I don't know much about this stuff. I went around askin some guy friends of mine whats good, n this is what I got from em:

Amp - Visonik 900XD

Subs - JL Audio W6v2

Speakers - ????

Head Unit - Alpine CDA-7894

Is this any good? If not, what needs changed/added?

hey jmac, huh?! he didn't post anything about the Alpines SWR-1241Ds. i 'm just confused.

either way, you want a system for SPL, SQ? The JL audio W6, some expensive shit i believe. You can't go wrong with the alpine hu, and about the amp. i dont' have any personal experiences with them, but if you browse thru the forum and look for visonik, they get thrashed like crazy in here. so you could think of somethign else just in case.
