bad rcas?????

i recently installed my alpine 7840 in a new delta 88 i got. i had it in my old car and it worked great. but when i hooked it up in this one if i dont have the headlights on it says intrupt on the screen and wont work?????? why would it do this? and also i have 2sets of preouts and only one set is working. but both sets worked in my old car. is there such thing as like a bad rca cable? thanks for any help

bad RCA cables wont disable your headlights or anything like that. You must of messed up somewhere on the wiring. or mabye hit a bad/loose wire somewhere by the deck.
