Good starter package?

Friend has been looking for some subs kinda cheapish, would this be a good starter set for him or is it not worth the money?

If you don't want to put much work into it... it might be.

I'd personally go read up on the forums a bit and then run a 500-600w system that he could build himself. That is if he's willing to to that.

Also how much $$$ is he looking to spend?

Bandpass' aren't too great imo and for the $$$ I think there's better options.

Post your total budget you want to spend after everything (amp, subs, wiring, if you want a new headunit or new speakers, etc..), if you're gonna install it yourself or not, and we can give you some good recommendations...
