Will Kinitek or Batcap help if I have no dimming?

Is that the baseline for whether they may be helpful to add to my system?

I have 200A alt, Big 3 and Red Top. Pushing 1600 watts at 1 ohm to my subs, plus another 450 at 8 ohms to my front stage. According to the total of the amp's current ratings, I theoretically could be pulling close to 250 amps.

However, at full tilt I am getting no dimming and my volts stay above 13.8 consistently.

Would I see any advantage at all to going with a 2nd batt, Kinetik or batcap?

Will a 4L engine help if you swap it for your 2L engine in your car if you drive it no different?

I really wish more people understood how man batteries we get suckered into paying premium prices are really no different in specs than what you can buy at Sears or Autozone. Batcap anyone?

Also, you're not pushing 1600 + 450 watts. That's simply a possibility indicator. Your music is in charge of driving the need for power, not your battery or your amps. It's probably safe to say that you will very rarely ever need 250 amps at any one time. RMS power is not average power.

I was running the same exact electrical and power as you about a year ago with the addition of 2 batcap 800's and I NEVER went below 14.4 volts once i got above idle. (Sundown 1500 & 100.4 were my amps). I say your pretty good where your at, no need to spend the money if your already in the high 13's. But if you wanted to stay above 14, you could add 1 or 2 batcap 800's or maybe a 2000. but not necessary IMO

That's what I am wondering. If the diff between 14.4 and 13.8 is worth it?
