Good sq 8 maybe 10

I need a very good sq 8 in sub, or a 10 if it is shallow enough and will perform well in a small box (~.5-.75 cu. ft.) I'll be getting a good amp to power it, and it will go with my current arc 4 channel, diamond speakers, and kenwood excelon hu. Whats a good choice?

How shallow? RL-i is a great choice...IDQ 8 if you can find one...Crystal CMP are supposed to be good but arent very loud unless your sending them upwards of 500 watts....

Less than 6" deep, this will be hidden behind a factory panel, in a custom box where a stock sub would go.

Rl-i is right at 6 inches so IDK if that would work for ya, But they work great in small enclosures and can get loud for a single 8...

Might work, although that would leave little to no space behind the coil. I would prefer to be around 5-5.5" deep, but if I have to I will modify things.

However I am doing a single AA assassin in my bros car, I can give you results in a couple days...Box is already made, just awaiting the amp...

It sounds amazing and has great output for a single 8" in a small box.

Thanks, I'd like to hear about the assasin. I'd rather not go inverted but I might be able to gain some room with an elevated trim ring instead of a flush grille.

If you can go with a 10" the XS-L100P5W is a great choice....only $60 and it hits hard.....really good for sq not so great for the spl end.........

Assassin 8s sound great in small sealed boxes...sometimes I miss the punchiness they had when I was running my four sealed...they can easily handle over 400 watts sealed...

Ampman Audio 1500.1...Its underrated so somehere between 1500 and 1600...or 375-400 each....it was pretty loud...It was in about 2 cubes total sealed...then they were in 2.8 cubes ported tuned to 35...should have gone bigger //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
As far as low, nothing amazing, but they werent that bad at all...Songs like soul survivor shook my steering wheel in the second box....
