Good Setup?

Heres what I was planning on going with, let me know what you think.

For the Sub, Hifonics Goliath XX 2412:

What Amp would you reccommend? The BX2005D Has more Rms @ 2 Ohms, but I'm not sure what one is better. I'd also like some feedback on these Amps and this Sub, when I did a search I found a lot of threads saying, "Check over on termpro. Do a search over there ( http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=148385&highlight=hifonics+Goliath )" about the Hifonics Subwoofer line, but I can not find one thing about them on the Termpro website. A link would be nice.

well to start off whats your budget and what kinda space are you working with

I have a Gmc 2003 Sierra Ext Cab. Currently I have 2 12" Pioneer Subs under the rear bench, and the amp is in between the two subs. Basically I'm looking at a buget of 750 for a Sub and amp. I custom build my boxes and wire the car my self, so I will not have that as part of the price tag.

Sealed, Cu Ft unlimited really... I've taken out the back bench.

you could always go with an orion p series sub and something like an orion 6002. you should be able to get them pretty cheap.

well if thats the case then you should definitely go ported. sealed is more geared more towards sq applications and ported is for sql. how many subs do you wanna run and what size?

I want a 12, mabye 2 depending if I can fit it in the budget. In my first post you can see what I was considering, and I was curious if I could get some feedback about those. But I'm curious about where your questions are going, so back to them...

I'm getting a lot of Pm's about Mags and Us Amps Merlin MD 2, But from what I understand that sub is strictly Spl, and I would like some Sq too, what should I do and are there no opinions about the first post?

well if thats the case then you should definitely go ported.
