good outboard active xovers?

Quite frankly, any and all Lanzar products are now made by Pyramid and therefore crap.
That's good to know. I thought that the Optis were still good. I was never planning on buying their amps, I have way too many as it is. I just thought some of their sruff was still decent. Guess not. What about the aforementioned COustic crossover? Any more input on that unit?

opti amps are still decent. mine worked very well
It's a shame companies have to go under and get bought out by companies like Pyramid. If yours is fine then thats cool. I'd like to see a picture of the guts between the old Opti drives made by Lanzar and a new one made by Pyramid.

Coustic is owned by Mitek along with MTX, Xtant, Streetwires....etc. Which is why there isn't MTX wiring and cables anymore. To answer your question my buddy has one and used it in his van and it sounds pretty decent. I do know I would take a mitek product over a Pyramid product any day but that is going to depend on you. I personally don't think you'd be disappointed in that x-over.

I'll keep that unit in mind then. I'm currently working out a trade for a memphis Belle, so I'll wait and see what kind of crossover cababilities that amp has before i pick up an outboard.
