Good modern rock songs?

I saw Lacuna Coil in concert a week after karmacode came out and all I have to say is they sound better in person (which now a days is kind of hard to find). Both singers sounded awesome, but Christinia was just breathtaking seeing this little woman with such a giant voice.
P.S. They were opening for Rob Zombie, who kicked major ***. Best show I've been to period

Little Young are we? How is this not considered modern Rock? Anyways, if your looking for new just check out some countdown charts and listen to whats on them, Im sure youll find something you like

Pretty much the same here. For that show my buddy and I had to drive 4 hours away. The only show that we have gotten local here that I went to was Avenged Sevenfold (put on a good show), CKY (a7f only got a good show because CKY stole it right from under them), Bulletts and Octane, and two other bands. The main thing that sucked really bad at this show was it was basically 40% 15 years old and under.

We were going to have Giganatour about 20 min. away but the cancelled the show and rescheduled about 3.5 hours away. ***holes.

feb 10th i saw avendged sevenfold with cky, bullets and octane, and the confession also

Same here. All the little ones recognized the chorus and the music part but nobody other than my buddy and me really knew the song word for word. I think we were one of the first ones to realize what they were actually playing a lot of people were kind of looking at eachother like What the hell? Iam kind of pissed off because I couldn't get any of time off of work in June so I missed the Unholly Alliance tour when they were in Sac town. I really wanted to see Lamb of God and Bodom. I guess there is always the next show.(which is way iam pissed off about gigantour because LoG was on the card too.)

if for even an instant, i wasn't entirely convinced that rock and roll REALLY did finally die, this thread has ended all doubt

music as of late is a discrace to anything that came before it

it's really not difficult to see why the entire recording industry is collapsing

there hasn't been as much uninspired, regurgitated bullshit on the radio since new wave

i hate what the media and radio has done to our culture nowadays. I hate senseless rap that has no meaning whatsoever and that 98% of the worlds population cant decipher, and that for some reason everyone in the world loves. It seems like the less a song can be understood, the more it is liked. Also, im glad boybands/girlbands are dead. N***** and Spice *****s FTL.

I cannot stop reccomending in flames although they are metal. anything before Soundtrack/Reroute, but they kinda redeemed themselvese with the new come clarity. "crawl through knives" is my favorite song on that cd.

which is why you dont listen to the radio lol, look into some indie stuff, you might find some good bands worth listening to. i mean youre gonna have to wade through gigabytes of crap (ala techno) but im sure you might find a band or two that you will like.

Slipknot's new single is very good too, but their old stuff may be a little rough for some people.

I give them points for being 'different'. I put different in quotes because while they use different instruments, they still use crappy lyrics that are repeated over and over. I think in 'I write sins, not tragedies', they sing the chorus at least 4 dozen times. All those 'God damns' get on my nerves, too. I'm not a big fan of people using the Lords name in vein. Not to mention I heard another one of their songs on Sirius, and it sounded the exact same as the first one on the radio with different words.

hehe i rate them better than most of the new crap out there on la radio. believe me, im no fan. i find it funny how the only stations i listen to are the classic rock ones and the Jazz, also the occasional spanish station to have fun
