What do you guys think about a pair of Hifonics BXi1206D's each running 3 Cerwin Vega Vmax 12's @ 1ohm? Sound like a good match?

Never heard the Vmax in person, but heard good reviews from others. Instead of going with the BXi1206D pair, why not go with a single BXi2607D? Unless you are using the pair for looks.

Im not sure how youre gonna run two amps to three subs, unless the amps are strappable.....

Wouldn't that be a little overkill for these woofers? Wired @ 1ohm the BXi2607D would put out 2600wrms.

Not if you're putting 6 subs to it. Plus, Hifonics is known for over rating their amps, so in all actuallity, you would get the close to the 2400WRMS that you were wanting from the 2 BXi1206D's. Those will only put out about 1000WRMS...

Vmax are great i have a 15 my frien has 2 12's running two a 2 channel PA

they pretty beast youll def. have the upper hand powered at 1 ohm

i have ran those and the strokers, underated as well, i throw a 1000 watts each to two of them and they slam.

no, you dont get MORE power you get the same just divided up among six subs instead of 2 or 3.

I'm curious how you planning on running 3 subs at 1 ohm... not possible with the only option being a 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub
