good match for a pair of 12w6v2's?

i'm currently helping a friend build a system for his truck and now he is in the market for an amp. i know the obvious choice for a pair of 12w6v2's would probably be the jl 1000/1, but he already killed himself on the subs, so i'm trying to see if theres a good amp out there that will push around 1200 watts @ 2 ohms to one channel? any suggestions?

umm...that pioneer amp is 1200 max not rms...that amp wouldent be nearly enough...its only rated at 400rms@2
