How hard is it to drill through those?

thin copper?? easy. Like aluminum.

I might take a dremel and round off the edges a little too.

Could be helpful to cut a slot for the crimp.

easy to drill thru. i actually have the wire almost all the way to the end and drilled thru it also. good idea about notching it, but i was trying not to cut it. the punches hold it pretty good, i put the end in a vice and gave a few good tugs on it. i am gonna round the ends a little tho
