Good HU for under $400

Well the 8445 has a downside it has no detachable face. That could potential lure thiefs not only would they steal the HU but all my other audio stuff. Sad because I heard the eclipse cd5000 at circuit city and it sounded real good

Yea thats the main reason Im not really planning on buying an Eclipse unless I end up getting a DVD/Navi which I doubt cuz thats just too much money. Plus I would probably end up gettin jacked for that and it would be a $1500 loss not just $500.

I mean it also depends on the car too. I with my cavalier it pretty much blends in with every other one except for the 5 % tint but everything else is the wack *** base model oem stuff. So I can even get away with not even detaching the face. But for my next car I doubt Im gettin somethin that looks average so I gotta be more careful with the system.

for the one's saying eclipse 8445, can i ask have you actually done a direct swap with the 880 or even used one?
