Yup and thats not USB. Thats Alpines High speed connection for iPod. There is no USB expandability on the 9887.you have to buy the cord for the ipod.... the blue plug comming out of the back is what it plus into

Should be exactly the same as the 9887. Not sure if you need the Imprint kit though with it. With the 9887 you dont need the Imprint kit to get the full crossover control, but on the 9886 you do.How is the crossovers on the 117ri? Tempted by that as i can have USB connectivity and a standard aux connection if i wanted.
i was looking at both myself and i went with the 9887 just b/c it has the active network built inI just read that the h100 does your crossover points for you, isn't that a bit stupid? Surely you must be able to set them yourself
