Wrong... its listed in the auction AS-IS and he had in it in bold and underlined that he didnt kno if they worked. When any1 says that in their auction 80% chance it doesnt work.

If they don't work why not file a claim? 60 bucks is 60 bucks. If he did not know if they worked, he should have gave them away or threw them in the trash. By not doing anything I think you send the message that its OK to dump your garbage on e-bay. He knows an awlful lot about them from the spec. list that he has on there. Maybe he's just reading from a box , but he sure is trying to trump those speakers up. That rear speaker looks like maybe the cone is torn a bit,that should be highlighted if thats the case, not thrown in the back. If they do not work, than maybe his first feedback should be a negative one. People that put crap on e-bay for others to buy, deserve negative feedback! good luck. Oh wait...I meant 90 bucks is 90 bucks. I forgot shipping.

All he had to do is push on the center of the cone and check for scraping, there's no excuse for anyone not knowing if a speaker works or not. The only exception is when you separate the coil from the spider and cone and that doesn't happen often in most systems.

I've passed up what seemed like some amazing deals from sellers with zero feedback. It's just not worth the risk to me.

I wouldn't have bid on them either, but you do have the option of just not paying for them. It's annoying for the seller for sure, but the worst that happens to you is you get negative feedback.

I wouldn't have bid on them either, but you do have the option of just not paying for them. It's annoying for the seller for sure, but the worst that happens to you is you get negative feedback.

The seller couldnt leave me negative feedback. They could start a claim through ebay of an unpaying bidder, but I wouldnt be charged for it. It would just "go on my record" basically. I already paid for them. Hell, I had the money in Paypal, and it was either those or a new set of PC speakers. I decided to take a chance. If I get them and they are more beat up than what the pictures show, I WILL be filing a claim, because I am sure I could get my money back for that. I am really hoping at least one works, even then I would be paying about average price for it. Meh, oh well, I will update this as soon as they show up.

There's the point of no return...... Never buy from a zero bidder with "paypal account funds". Always use a credit card "just incase". Now all he has to do is send you a brick in a box and provide tracking and you're completely done.
