Ok well a few days ago I saw a pair of the older Type Rs on feebay with the highest bid of $55 with $30 s/h. So, I thought I might as well take a chance, and put in a bid. I bid 60.01 thinking I wouldnt win them since for 2 12" Type Rs thats really cheap. Well, today I won the auction for $60.01. I am kinda scared because the seller has no feedback, and does not know if they work or not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I really was hoping I would get outbid, but I didnt. So what do you guys think? Good idea or bad? The only way I will know for sure if it was a good deal is if they come and they work. Heres the auction. They look pretty beat up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

lol, don't pay... You should have never bid unless you were serious

I was serious, and I did know he had no feedback. I thought it was a good idea when I bid lol. I already paid, so I guess now I am just praying at least one of them work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif If not, I am gonna file a claim with Paypal, they always go to the buyers side //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif It had listed the shape that they were in and you bought them anyway AND paid for them. So your going to file a complaint if they don't work?

Lol, that part was a joke, hence the smiley face. I will just take it as a loss if they dont work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I might try to sell them for like 30 bucks or something just to get some of it back, but I realize this is a really risky buy.

he could of got more money if he just tested them out to make sure they worked and listed them as WORKING. That would be the smart thing to do, unless he KNOWS they DO NOT WORK, which is more than likely the case

Humm.. well all you can do is hope they work lol. I wouldnt bid on crap thats beat up like that myself but to each his own. I bet they dont work. How hard is it to test a woofer? You just need a dang 9v or a dmm.
