Good Deal from BestBuy?

It's a Rockford Fosgate package and it has two 10" subs Punch P2 and a 300-Watt mono powered amp for 299. I was wondering if that's a good deal or I can find better?

Is it still called "The Fast and the Furious" series? Comes with a box too, right? My buddy bought it and brought it to my apartment so we could install it. It made bass.. sorta. One of my pet peaves is spending money on crap, just to say you have something back there.

those are p1 sub's(69.99 ea) 150w RMS 300w peak and a p3001(199.99ea) 150W x 1 @ 4 ohms and 300W x 1 @ 2 ohms....you run that amp at 2ohm's and you'll blow those sub's....buy the amp but spend the extra $100 on 1 p2 sub and you'll be much happier

hmm thanks for the advice. i might just go with one 12 for my accord instead of getting two 10s.

buy some kicke compvrs off ebay or sumthing and get a decent mono amp and build a sealed box or get one made and it will be alot better. probably a little more money though but you be alot happier.

I was looking at the RE SE12" sub, but I still haven't received a price quote for it as of yet. But all of of that for 240 when the chain stores wanted to charge me 500 for rockford stuff without installation is crazy.

the new punch dont' sound dat bad. i was impressed w teh p3, n p2 sounded pretty good too. if u get 2 12 p2s w a decent RF amp then that''s a pretty good deal for 300

i agree that they don't sound bad but from what i hear i can get something cheaper that sounds better than RFs
