make sure you listen to all these guys and buy the cheap sh1t so it all falls down first time it gets hot.

Go with Audio Technix, Second Skin (owner is dbag), dynamat, B2 audio, they are all good quality companies

You get what you pay for.

I went cheap with my truck... Learned my lesson. I run AlphaDamp in my car. I love it. 20 square feet for $180 though. Only need 25% coverage though so it comes out to about 100 square feet of other brands. Im going to try Audio technix for some areas I haven't deadened yet.

thinking the same thing , i mean wtf 200 $ for 40 Sqft for a quality sound deadening material is a plot. How much do think it really cost to (example ) dynamat to make a 100 sqft roll 80 mil thick ... Im about to Start a compagny of sound deadening in canada and get rich , anyone ?

I personally used 90 mil Murdermat MDK on floor of trunk,back deck,trunk lid and let me tell you it was a ***** to work with(hard as hell to form even with light heat). Finishing the the rest of trunk with their 87 mil BL series which is alot easier to form. Had no problems with cuts and hell i was rolling around in/on it for about 2 hours. Gonna do the rest of the car with audio technix 60 mil though.
