That's pretty much what mine are, temporary amps.
When I'm done with them I'll more than likely just give them to friends to use

me however.... if i am impressed by 1 of the 2000's, im going to grab another and strap them lol... im pretty impressed by the 1500's. my friend has his 1500 wired to .5ohm "daily" to 1 DC lvl 4xl in a TERRIBLY built wall, its actully just a huge box, not really even a wall or even sealed off. with stock 90 alt(honda), 1 batt under hood and 1 deka in the trunk, and 1 run of 0ga, yes he drops to about 11v at full tilt LMAO.... HOWEVER, he peaks 149.3 on the windshield using music. not to shabby in my book
