I plan on using a 5 gallon bucket of SecondSkin spectrum spray on my Grand Prix this spring. I'm tearing all the seats, carpet, doorskins off and going to town. Can't wait.

what year is your grand prix?

peal and seal all work but secondskin is a much easier product to use

It's an '02. I think this will be the most cost effective and most thorough way of quieting the car down. I'm doing the firewall as well. After that I'm going use some Overkill Pro on the firewall and the floor boards. I just hope it all fits under the stock carpet.

What was the problem with the sludge?? Did it take a long time to dry??

don't know if it was due to the extreme wether changes, or just a bad batch, but there are no leaks in my trunk

i used this stuff in my jeep and didn't notice any problems, however i sold the jeep shortly after

the sludge turned that color. i don't know where the color came from. my floor isn't rusted however the spare tire wheel is so i think that mixed into the sludge

secondskin sells a spray gun or you can paint it on. sludge however is too thick to paint or spray so i smear it on with my hands
