basically "brand new" motor........with a bad head. the car has a ****ed ******, screwed head.........and yet the motor is still brand new. that's amazing in my eyes. don't see how you can say that. if the pattern keeps going on its happy merry way...that motor isn't basically "brand new".

I agree. And thats a little bit of a steep price for something that needs that amount of work. I just picked up a GS-T for $250 and it only had 2 bent valves. Im gonna have to pass up on that offer.

ive rebuilt the motor replaced all the problems and its running and moving strong.

its just sitting next to my garage until it sells

i wouldnt sell it for 2k with a blown motor and bad head its all been redone

Kid fawks up the ******, then trys and fixes it then something else happens and then it sits and never says anything about fixing it again, then says I am selling it and looking for a WRX and now it is up and moving strong! 91 awd tsi talon galant vr4 motor and transmission freshly rebuilt

I wouldn't have paid $5 for that car. I had one before, and loved it. Until shit started breaking, first it was the valve seals, it was using more oil than gas. That was only $600 to fix. Then the CV joints went out twice, I did them myself so all together i think that was around $500. Then the transmission went, it was $1996 to get repaired.... Oh and all of this happen in the 18 months that I had the car. I sold it for $1800 (this was in 1996) and the people I sold it to had nothing but trouble. I know the ****** went for a second time, and they had to get something else fixed that was around 1k. Those cars are absolute crap. Oh the most important part... The car had under 80k miles on it.

It trips me out to see people hating on a certain car... Because of one bad experience with one. Especially on a car that is notoriously beaten on. An 02 WRX isn't gonna be much better. Those are notorious for 3rd taking a shit, and the center diff giving up. And it's out of warranty. Wait til you see the bill to fix that shit.
