Good budget amp for SQ hdc312?

Well my sub just came in and **** that thing is a fuggin beast Lol. Ill see how my nine.1 does then and just go from there. Since I'm gonna use that sub I think I'm gonna sell my old RE hybrid 12s....anyone know how much I could get for them? The owner made them for me right before he sold the company.

That nine.1 is actually 1200w @12v right? Still might want more power eventually but I'd think it would be strong enough in the near future that you can do your electrical first

Can take 2k no sweat. My 310 took it no prob. It will move some at 1200........

Well it's 1200 at 12v....it's probably around 1500.

I've never heard of FSD but I'll look at that amp....I just wasn't sure if I should be looking at something sub 2k or over.

Budget I'm thinking will be around 500 or maybe a bit less just depending quality wise on what I can get.

Keep your amp and and focus on electrical upgrades.
Friend of mine tried to run an HDC3 12 on stock electrical and it didn't go so well (with most stock electrical setups your getting maybe 600 watts to the subs, that's not good for a 1500RMS sub, especially since it's not the most efficient sub out there).

Sub sounds fine on his setup but when we wired it to my car it increased output over 2x (my car has upgraded battery, big 3, and alternator). On his setup the subs barely moved

Well that sounds promising Lol. Ill probably order a big 3 kit this weekend and I'll have to see about a alternator later.

Well with my setup now with the amp and my 2 sa8s I never got any kind of dimming so I thought maybe I would be OK with just the big 3.
