Good budget amp for SQ hdc312?

So I just ordered this sub today after some looking and reading and I think I'm gonna need a bigger amp. Right now I have a ED nine.1 that I've had for years and I've never had a problem with it...but not sure it will be enough. I know I need to break in the sub so not that in a hurry. Budget I'm thinking will be around 500 or maybe a bit less just depending quality wise on what I can get.

Sq2200 for the sake of matching brands. And its a solid amp

Of course I had looked at that amp and matching like u said but only reason I wasn't looking more into it was cause I haven't heard a lot about them on how they were.

You can always peruse the classifieds on here. You would want to look for atleast 1500wrms. What does your electrical system consist of? You would, again, want atleast 0/1g power/ground wire, the venerable big3, in 0/1g as well, agm batt up front maybe one in the back with the amp. What final ohm load are you going to be using? There is a ab vfl 175.1 in the classies for 525, look at that one.

This is all going in a 350z so obviously I don't have the biggest battery Lol. I haven't done the big 3 which I probably need to do soon as well. Everything will be going to 1ohm so maybe I can get by for now with the amp I'm using but if I step it up I'm sure I'll have to step up other things as well.

from their site

The Amplifier is a 1600W@ 1 Ohm Mono Amp. power test were done on a amp dyno they are as follows:
Certified:

4 Ohm 694W @ 14.4v

2 Ohm 1255W @ 14.2v

1 Ohm 1608W @ 14.2v

Dynamic:

4 Ohm 766W @ 14.5v

2 Ohm 1423W @ 14.4v

1 Ohm 2604W @ 14.3v

NOT RECOMMENDED OHMS:

.8 Ohm 3051W @ 14.2v

.5 Ohm 4236W @ 14.0v

So would that be good enough to use now or just see about something that's like 2k?

if you're willing to spend more money for more power look for a used twisted sounds 1.8k

2k of class ab power is going to draw a ton of current. I wouldn't want to run that encore without beefed electrical

Yeah I'm gonna be on stock elec for now....so what should I look for or maybe I'll be OK since I'm running just one 12?

You can just turn the gain down. You're not going to find anything better than a nine.1 unless you upgrade your electrical. They're good sq amps with a lot of power
